Minutes
Minutes of meeting on 13 March 2007 read and agreed as a correct record.
Matters Arising
Billy has spoken to Len Waterworth who has insisted on refunding the cost of the bar licence (£21) for his party.
Treasurer's Report
Copy attached to the Minutes.
Billy presented the report in Elliot's absence.
Vent Axia
Stewart has organised a technical support person to come on Monday next week and have a look at the various problems with the fans. His conversation with Vent Axia would suggest that the problems may be fixable. It may be that they are still under guarantee.
Water heaters
The kitchen water heater has broken again. The manufacturer has had a look and says they are the wrong heaters for multiple tap use and need replacing. This also applies to the heaters in the bar and the toilets. Dunn's have supplied a discounted price of £1500 for the work. Agreed to proceed. There are also 2 wall heaters which are broken. Billy will discuss them tomorrow with John Dunn.
Tables
The sample table has been returned and the Awards for All application is ready to go.
Village Show
Martin says there are plenty of ideas floating around for the new re-vamped Show and he hopes to have something put together for the next meeting. The Church will participate and Cinzia has offered to help out.
A pet show is a possibility. Nikki will help with this. Richard will organise a fun run.
Sheila suggested a car boot type sale/table top sale. The village green is a possible site.
The pub may put on a hog roast in the car park.
Fundraising
We have nothing planned at the moment. The patio BBQ is a possibility if the patio is done.
Martin suggested a salsa night with a band he knows. He will find out if they can do 23rd June.
Fiona is considering a family treasure hunt in the village.
AOB
Linda reported that the diary is reasonably healthy.
Meeting closed 9.35pm. Next meeting 8 May 2007
